Underground Google Tactics for Guaranteed Targeted Traffic

Howdy,

Everyone and their brother is fighting for pole position on Google. SEOers, SEMers, article marketers, giant corporations, medium size companies and even spanking new marketing rookies all know that you can get a ton of free traffic by ranking well in the search engine. No big revelation there.

So while I'm pondering the sheer power of Google (and trying to think of tweaks for better rank), an idea hit me like a ton of bricks...

... could there be a way to tap into the all-powerful Google juice itself and use it for my own selfish purposes?

The answer is YES. And not just one way either - several. And they are totally ethical. No black hat stuff and not some off-the-wall loopholes.

You're probably wondering why I call these "underground tactics" if they are above board. The answer is simple: not a whole lot of people are using these methods and if they are, they're being pretty hush-hush about it. (Do a search for "how to get traffic using google" and you'll see what I mean). This is good news for us.

... One more thing before we get into the meat of this post. I just put up an article at Ezine that explains three of these tactics. If, by chance, that is how you ended up on my doorstep, you should still pay close attention. This post is stuffed with juicy material that's NOT in the article ;)

... Let's do this already

At first glance you will probably understand why these tactics are often overlooked as viable traffic sources. They are lame looking to be perfectly honest. But stick with me here... I promise the light bulb will pop on as we drill down and analyze just how to use them for guaranteed targeted traffic.

Here they are:

Google Knol
Official Google Blogs
Google Docs
Google News


1. Google Knol is best described in a nutshell as a reference site that is made up of articles submitted by contributors. Each article is called a Knol. Google defines the term Knol as a unit of knowledge. The power of Knol to drive guaranteed targeted traffic rests in your resource box, much the same as submitting articles to directories, except most Google Knol pages carry a PR rating of five. If you make the front page the PR is a massive seven.

There are are some caveats to be aware of. First, Google has openly stated that the nofollows will be used abundantly on all submissions until the author builds a large following and a positive reputation on Knol. So if you're looking for back links, you'll need to work at it by building your readership and your credibility.

Secondly, their submission guidelines are strict. They simply don't want any junk (this is a good thing), so be prepared to put in the effort. The payoff is well worth it. In fact, it is so much worth the effort that I would recommend you consider hiring someone to write a Knol for you if you do not have the confidence to do it yourself.


2. I believe that official Google blogs are often overlooked as source of guaranteed targeted traffic because they appear scary to regular people. They are operated by the big company itself, Google, and it makes people shy away because they feel they are just a regular ol' Joe. It's the mentality of the little guy versus the big corporation and if they dare to participate without exclusive permission, they will be punished or something. Truth is, this simply is not the case. Just as you can get traffic by posting to "regular" blogs, you can do the same thing using the official Google blogs.

Google has somewhere in the neighbourhood of 75 plus official blogs. You should be reading some of these daily for the simple fact that what Google has to say about page rank, position in the SERPS and link popularity is important and you can use this information to tweak your site.

When it comes to getting targeted traffic, first, use the appropriate blogs in the same manner you would any other; make comments in a meaningful, relevant and constructive way. Second, if you find information on Google's official Blogs that contain content that would interest your visitors, summarize it in a section on your website and upload it regularly. Make sure to credit everything properly.

3. Google Docs. If you're like me and this is the first time you've heard this as a guaranteed targeted traffic source, you must be thinking it's crazy. But here's the deal. There are many creative ways in which you can use Google Docs to drive traffic to your site. For instance, you can create an informative, easy to read article about your niche with specific reference to your website. Then set the article privacy setting as a public document and viola. Google may just index your document which means not only do you get targeted traffic, you get a valuable back link from Google itself.

4. Submitting to Google News. If you do not have a news website (or news section) already, set one up. It is well worth the expense because the traffic rush to your website will amaze you. Expect to see a high page rank for your Google compatible news website in only a few months because Google News generates traffic in the millions every day. You can get the news for your site/pages several different ways:

- Hire a freelance newswriter to create newsworthy content in your niche
- Reproduce free content from press release websites
- Borrow content from news sites that do not copyright their material
- Get them articles from article directories such as ezine Articles, Go Articles and Article Base for your features section
- Solicit contributions from your readership
- Reproduce content from blogs, newsletters and ezines after seeking permission

Guaranteed targeted traffic is the secret sauce that everyone online needs in order to make money. A kick-butt website with a premium product that will benefit the masses will not make you a single dime if no one is coming to your site. Traffic is the lifeblood of your business and this article will show you exactly how to get that traffic with one simple secret. It's a very simple secret that will put you on your "A" game if you have the guts to read this article to the end and follow through with some action.

I'm not going to screw around and make you spend 30 minutes trying to guess what this one secret is. I'm going to flat out tell you and then tell you how to do it.

Now before you get all ticked off and shout out that you've heard it all before, you need to know this: 90 percent of all online marketers are still doing this the wrong way. That means that just by reading this short article and following the simple tactics you will be in the top 10 percent. If that is not worth your time, I don't know what is.

Still with me? Good. Let's drill down and see how it really works.

The most important thing you need to understand when it comes to keywords is that you need to be targeting EXACT keyword phrases. Do not target topics, do not target broad phrases and do not target phrases that have an extra word or two. Target exact phrases.

I understand this seems like a simple concept but virtually no one does this. They mess around with the broad matches, they add an extra word or two or they go after a topic. This doesn't work nearly as well and sometimes not at all.

You should understand that there are real, live human beings typing words into the search engines. You want to "connect" with these people right from the very start. That means using the exact same terms they are using. For example, if I type "buy natural spring water" into a search engine, I'm looking to buy natural spring water. I'm not looking for reviews, scams or how to information. This is a critical concept to grasp. Once you do grasp it, following through with a little action is simple.

Now that you understand why exact phrases are so important, you need to start using professional tools to get the job done. This doesn't mean you have to go out and spend a ton of money. You can get a free trial of software such as market samurai. When the trial period runs out, the keyword portion stays fully functional forever. They also provide a great video tutorial section that will get you going full steam in the right direction.

This is the simple secret for guaranteed targeted traffic. If you follow through and take action on this information you will see some great results.

Guaranteed Web Traffic - Fast and Free

I’m not sure exactly why I’ve resisted trying Yahoo Answers until now. I guess it just didn’t seem to be a viable option to get web traffic. After doing the research for 50 Ways to Get Web Traffic for Free, I’m happy to report that this is turning out to be a TRUE hidden gem. (Check out the bottom of this post a juicy new way to put some serious moolah in your pocket using Yahoo Answers ;)

For whatever reason, search engines LOVE Yahoo Answers. The Answers rank very well. Like page one well. (While getting ready to post this article, I did a random search for “how do I get my hair grow faster” and Yahoo Answers was number six.). Besides ranking so well, they apparently get indexed fast.

If you aren’t at all familiar with Yahoo Answers, here’s the important traffic building lesson to be learned: You are allowed to post a source link (aka your website/blog) with your answers. What does that mean? It means that YOUR link gets on Google page one and that will send traffic AND build your credibility. Pretty damn cool, right?

But there’s a catch… do it the wrong way and you’ll end up getting banned.

We certainly don’t want that to happen, so I asked around for some advice. Here’s how the experts explained to go about this the correct way.

Create a New Account on Yahoo

The first thing you should do is create a new Yahoo account. It’s not hard in the least, just go to Yahoo.com and sign up. If you already have an account, my suggestion would be NOT to use it for this method.

After you’ve created your new account, click on "Answers".

Once in the Answers section, take some time to create an avatar. This is actually more important than you would think. An avatar gives you a little more trust. When spammers use Answers (and they do) you can see they are too lazy to even have an avatar most of the time. Yahoo has an avatar generator. Use it.

You are pretty much ready to start answering questions now.

The Right Way to Answer Questions

If you want guaranteed web traffic using this method, the worst thing you can do is start pasting a bunch of worthless replies with links to your site. First, people will not want to click your link if your answers aren’t that good. Second, there’s a good chance you could get your account banned. Don’t post junk.

In addition to people not wanting to click on your link, you need to increase your score. For each answer you give, you will receive 2 points. There are some other ways you can get points, but answering questions and getting them *Starred* are two of the most common ways.

Yahoo Answers also has levels. You will start out at level one and have to work your way up. Level one members can only answer 20 questions per day. As you reach other levels, you’ll be able to answer more questions per day.

Strategies

To start getting guaranteed web traffic, go through the main categories and then drill down to the specific one for your niche or topic. The more specific you can get, the more targeted your traffic will be. You will find a list of the Answers in the center of the page. The top of the list is the question that was asked most recently. One secret I use is that I refresh my browser constantly and try to be the first person to answer a question.

Another secret I use is that I do NOT put a link in every answer. The folks on Yahoo Answers are very sensitive about spamming. Any hint that you are trying to spam and they will boot you to the curb in the blink of an eye. You should only be answering questions in categories that you can offer genuine help or advice. My personal rule of thumb on links is that I only post a link to my site 1 to 2 times out of every 5 or so answers. Remember, you to not want to draw attention that remotely suggests you may be spamming.

That’s all there is to it. Follow the simple rules and strategies above and you will have fast, free, targeted traffic AND build credibility.

First, thank you for all the great feedback from our first post on this special report! It's awesome knowing these web traffic tips are helping so many folks out there.

Second is that I was bombarded with requests and questions regarding the first tips. A lot of people wanted more "in-depth" information, rather than just an overview. And, I have to say, I agree completely that it would be much more useful to you.

So, starting later today, I am taking the time to expand each tip and explain everything in detail. It is going to take some extra time. We won't be posting as often as we originally planned, but the material will be much for useful to you in the end.

50 Ways To Get Web Traffic for FREE

Lately I've been hearing alot of noise from the "gurus" that there is no such thing as free web site traffic. Sure, I understand that they are trying to make a buck and they need to make their products appear bigger, badder and louder... but it got me thinking beyond that...

How many free ways to get web traffic are there exactly? And how well do they perform?

My first thoughts were that there are probably about 10 really effective ways to get web traffic for free. Fifteen tops. But the more I started examining it, the more I came up with. (You're probably thinking 50 based on the title above but you'd be wrong. It's actually closer to 100... and counting :)

When it comes to generating traffic, many website owners and bloggers tend to get stuck in a comfortable rut. We often use a small number of our favorite techniques and rarely, if ever, look beyond them.

I'm hoping that by exploring 50 ways to get traffic for free together, we will encourage each other to look beyond the techniques we are currently using and try a few new ones. This in turn will hopefully help us attract new visitors from new places and build meaningful and profitable relationships. And hell, other websites and blogs use these techniques successfully, why shouldn't we capitalize on it?

Ok, enough babbling, let's dive in...

Free Traffic Tip #1: You MUST have high quality, unique content if you want long-term, free search engine traffic. I chose this as number one for a reason. It is the MOST important and, sadly, the most ignored. You must must must provide ALOT of information-rich, keyword-rich, useful content for the
search engines AND humans to find.

The number one excuse folks use is "I can't write well." My answer to that is BULL. If you can write an email to one of your friends, you can write small articles about your niche. Heck, that writing style works GREAT.

Another method is to re-write FREE PLR (Private Label Rights). There is tons of free PLR available on the Internet. Go grab some and re-write it. Fast, simple and FREE...

Free Traffic Tip #2: KEEP adding high value, unique content! This goes hand in hand with the first tip. KEEP doing it. At MINIMUM you should be adding one fresh article per week. If you can add fresh, HIGH QUALITY content several times per week, even better!

This tip is equally as important as the first tip. They could easily be labeled 1a and 1b. As Nike would say, just do it!

Free Traffic Tip #3: Do some SERIOUS Keyword research. Look, the bottom line is that if you want to get TONS of traffic from search engines, you need to find out the exact phrases which people are typing into search engines. Ideally, you should target the long tail keywords for maximum effect. There are free tools available for this, but they're not nearly as useful as the more comprehensive paid tools.

Ouch! Yes, I know, I know. I said PAID tools. But here's the deal. You can usually get full access to these tools for FREE. Yes, it's a trial version BUT... with products such as Micro Niche Finder and Market Samurai the keyword research function stays FULLY FUNCTIONAL even AFTER the trial period ends! Why? Because they are competing against free tools such as Google and their sales angle is the OTHER functions they offer. Great deal for us ;)

Free Traffic Tip #4: Use good keywords for your image files. I have to admit, this is one of those tactics that is fast, easy and definitely overlooked. I was actually a little shocked when a couple of people I know told me that they get up to several HUNDRED visitors per month from people searching Google images. Crazy. I'm taking a serious look at my image files right now and you should too.


Free Traffic Tip #5: Tweak your page title. Here's a good way increase your traffic that I learned from the same folks who gave me the tip on images:

Go to Google and type any phrase into the search box. Look at the titles of the websites in the top 10 rankings. Really look at the ones that catch your eye and tempt you to click on the link. You'll notice some are boring. Some are merely a long list of keywords. Some are good and still others are pure crap.

Good titles are written for search engines AND humans, this is our goal.

Now it's time to look at the titles on your site. Start with your most important pages. Now go to Google and do a search of YOUR site like this:

site:yoursitehere.com

Study the page titles. You may be horribly embarrassed at just how BAD some of your page titles are. Simply re-write them in a style like the ones you liked from our search a few minutes ago. Need more examples? Simply go to Google and do some more searches. You don't even need to stick to your niche(s).

Type in all sorts of different phrases and study the titles in the top ten listings that entice you to click on their link. It's a quick way to come up with some great ideas for changing your bad page titles. Checking the information in your meta description tag can help, too. Some search engines display this information in their search results.

I hope you can see from just these first 5 tips how some small, simple tweaks can increase web traffic. (Free versions of the keyword tools and the image file tactic still have my head buzzing!) I also hope you realize that using free tactics doesn't have to be time consuming or difficult like some gurus would have us believe.

THESE TACTICS WORK. I can't stress that enough.

How To Create a Bio Box That Kicks A$$ - PART 2

In this post we are going to discuss *exactly* how your bio box should be created to maximize your chances of getting visitors to your site. We will also give you a few good examples...

Are you ready? Here we go:

1. Put your links BEFORE your name (or your website's name). I hate to be the one to tell you this but... your readers don't give a rat's ass about you. They only care about what is in it for them, that is, they only care about what you can offer them. Don't waste time (or space) talking about yourself.

2. Have multiple links in your bio box - even if they all point to the same destination. This will increase your chances of them clicking through.

3. You should have BOTH text links and HTML links in your bio box. If you're article gets syndicated only the text link will work.

4. Always try to offer freebies in your bio box. Write a report and give it away for free - do ANYTHING to get them to click through! If you can't write a report (or don't want to) buy one, hire someone to do it for you or get some good PLR (private lable rights).

How To Make Your Bio Box Kick A$$

As promised, here's an article that will show you how to make your bio box kick a$$ and put a whole lot more traffic (and cash) in your pocket.

(Note: This is a super important topic and will require more than one post. Fear not, I'll have the entire "report" all up within 24 hours - okay?!)

Please, please do not make the same mistake that over 90% (even the experienced ones!) of authors make when it comes to your Bio Box (author resource box). Do NOT dismiss the purpose and the true power of this seemingly small part of your articles.

Most authors or article marketer's think that their bio box is a place for them to toot their own horn. Here's an example of what I mean:

"Jim Marketer is a former Herbalife President's Team member who earned a six figure income in 18 months using techniques discussed in his articles and blog. Currently he is involved in several network marketing opportunities, the primary being Success University"

That is a REAL Bio Box I copied at random from an article posted at Ezine Artices (name changed). And it's typical of over 90% of the ones you will see. We'll be referring back to Mr. Marketer's bio box to see how it should have been done but first...

What is the primary purpose of your article?

Obviously, it is to provide valuable information to the reader. Without that (value) your article fails. BUT, that's not what we mean for this particular section - we're focusing on traffic and money.

The primary purpose of your article should be to pre-sell the reader into wanting to click on the links in your bio box. Period. As your reader continues through your article, it should be pursuading them that they want, or better yet MUST HAVE, the resources that you are providing in your bio box. Once they reach the end of your article, your bio box should hit them with the "perfect soultion" to what the article was about.

This is the primary purpose of your article. Unless, of course, you're just wrting articles for the hell of it and you're NOT trying to get traffic or make any money.

With that said, can you start to see the problems with Joe Marketer's bio box?

Let's take a look at the "big picture" so we can see how the process goes from beginning to end.

1. Reader goes to Google and types in what they are looking for.

2. Reader finds your article and clicks to it.

3. Reader reads your article, thinks it is good (valuable) and

4a. Clicks on one of the links in your bio box for more information

OR

4b. Clicks away from your article because there is nothing in the bio box that is of any use whatsoever to him/her.

Obviously, we want the results in 4a.

Let's do a quick recap:

- Your bio box is NOT a place to toot your horn.

- Your article should be written to pre-sell the reader into clicking one of the links in your bio box

- Your bio box should be providing a solution to the reader.

3 Fastest Ways to Get Targeted Web Traffic

It's no wonder in today's high tech, fast paced world that I often get the question "What are the fastest ways to get targeted web traffic?".

Today, we answer that question.

Since this site is all about "free" traffic secrets, you're probably not going to like the first method, but it has to be mentioned none the less. It's pay-per-click advertising.

Quite honestly, using this method is the absolute fastest way to get targeted traffic that we know of. For example, a pay-per-click ad with Google Adwords will show up on the search pages within 15 minutes usually.

I'm not going to spend anymore time than that on method #1. There is a ton of information available on the internet you can research if you want to spend the cash.

The next two methods don't cost a dime (our favorite) and in my humble opinion, have the potential to put alot more money in your pocket. So let's move on to bigger and better methods.

Method #2 is for you to "borrow" traffic.

You borrow traffic from people who have large mailing lists or popular websites in your niche. This is done in two main ways, "Endorsed Mailings" and "Reciprocal Linking".

Endorsed mailing is simply having the person send out an email to their list telling them why they should check your site out. Reciprocal linking involves having the person putting a prominent link to your website on their high traffic web pages.

Usually, the best way to persuade someone to do this for you is buy offering to pay a commission for any sales you make from their traffic, providing a link to them on your site or agreeing to a similar mailing (if you have a list or promise to do so when your list is bigger). Offering to one or a combination of the three will usually do the trick.

The third method (and actually the best in my opinion)is turning one-time visitors into repeat visitors.

At first it may appear that this isn't a fast way to get targeted web traffic, but if you follow along, you will see that it's not only fast, it's the most profitable.

You can pull in one-time targeted web traffic quickly using informative articles and then you entice them to return often by offering free special reports, free mini-courses or free newsletters.

The process is a easy 1-2-3 format and goes like this:

1. Write a 400 – 700 word article that offers valuable information to your target audience. At the end of your article, let the reader know that they can get more free information (other articles, special reports, mini-courses, etc.) by visiting your website or blog. Submit your article(s) to article directories such as Ezine Articles or Article dashboard (there are many more, just do a search for article directories)

2. Once the reader visits your site, entice them to sign up for your newsletter, mini-course, etc. Let them know you update the site regularly with more free information and reports and they'll miss out if they don't sign up.

3. Continue adding quality free information to your site and notify your past visitors that you have done so.

This does not have to be complicated or time consuming. You can get free content to update your site by using articles from article directories or thousands of other places on the web if you don't want to do it yourself. You can also use this free content to make up your mini-courses, etc. The only thing that has to be original, is your initial article(s) that you submit to the article directories. That's it.

A big bonus to using this method to getting website targeted traffic is that you are building a bond with your visitors. The stronger the bond you have, the more likely they are to make a purchase with you.

Ultimately, fast website targeted traffic boils down to the three methods we have just covered. Since we believe that quality, targeted traffic (and lots of it!) should always be developed through a system (instead of a single technique)our suggestion would, of course, to use a combination of these methods to achieve FAST targeted traffic.

More Article Marketing Secrets

Before we jump right into some more of the article marketing secrets, I wondered if you've been noticing the "big picture"?

If you're going to cash-in (or get rich - yes it is possible) on the internet, you must have traffic. You can have the best product or service, the coolest website or blog and the best customer service... but without traffic you will never make one red cent. In fact, you will most likely lose money.

I'm guessing, since you're here, you've already figured that part out.

So what's the big picture when it comes to traffic? It's simple really and it boils down to just two things:

1. Offer something of value - real value - to people (preferably free - like content/information) on your website or blog. Do NOT just try and sell them...

and...

2. Use a SYSTEM to drive traffic. Don't waste all you're time looking for that single technique to generate millions of visitors to your site overnight. It doesn't exist. Try the free techniques we list here, find a few that work the best for you and then use them consistently.

Now you have a system that drives a steady flow of traffic to your site or blog.

It's really a very simple formula for success that many folks try to over-complicate...

The reason I wanted to mention all this to you before diving into more article marketing secrets, is because it's also a vital part of the formula for success with article marketing itself.

1. Your article must offer real value to the reader. It can't be some crap you just threw together in two minutes that makes little or no sense or offers no real content.

2. You will use a system. Submit an article to Ezine. Rewrite it a bit and submit it to another article directory. Rewrite it a bit again and submit to other sites. Write a new article related to your topic and repeat the process.

The most important part of that two step process is number one - VALUE. You can and will succeed in article marketing if you offer value. If your articles have value you can still succeed by "skimpling" a bit on part two. If your articles are crap, you can put part two on steroids and you will still NOT succeed.

This does not mean you have to be a professional writer. Not at all. That's not what I mean.

Think of tips and how-to's when it comes to value. Show your reader how to do something, where to get something for free, how to use a particular piece of software, how to make or design something, etc., etc. Sky is the limit here.

== SHORTCUT SECRET TIP: The article mentioned above is very long, however it only took about 10 min to put together. An openeing paragraph or two, then copy and paste the actual "list" giving the original author credit and an ending paragraph. That's it. Totally above board and widely accepted. Very cool stuff.

The article offers value on two levels. One it shows the reader how and where they can find their own deals and, two, it gives a very specific list of some actual restaurants and the deals available right now. Good Stuff and very quick to create.

What was the "payoff" for this article? A couple hundred views in less than 24 hours, Google page one rankings for specific keyword phrases and, most importantly, immediate AND long term TARGETED traffic to a specific blog.

That is the power of article marketing. 30 minutes to create, edit and submit a high value article... which will payoff in a nice dividend of traffic for weeks, months and possibly even years.

And that is only ONE article. Imagine the sheer power of MULTIPLE articles in the same niche? That is why in our last post I emphasized the need to rinse and repeat.

I think this is such an important traffic topic that I'm going to spend some more time on this in the next few posts... I hope that after seeing the results that just one article can bring, you feel the same way and are just as excited!

You Lose... if you're not using Article Marketing

Article marketing is a simple and effective way to generate short and long-term traffic to your website. No matter what kind of site (or blog) you have, big or small, new or old, using articles can bring you a a very nice stream of visitors for years to come.


What exactly is article marketing?

In a nutshell, article marketing is writing content for other websites. You write a useful article on a topic related to your own website or blog, and offer it for others to publish on their sites or in their newsletters. At the end of your article you place your bio box/resource box (a short two to three sentence blurb about your products/services/website)which contains one or two links to your own website. It is required for the person publishing your article to leave the article "as is" including your bio box.

Creating a compelling bio box is a whole subject in itself and can dramatically increase traffic when done properly. We'll be covering that topic more in-depth in future posts. For now, just keep in the back of your mind that bio boxes ARE important

Not only do you receive links to your website each time your article is published, but other website owners begin to seriously consider you as an expert in your field and may contact you for interviews or joint ventures.

And, of course, it's free. (If you're a time mongor, keep in mind this is something that is pretty cheap to outsource if you want).

What's the easiest way to start article marketing?

First, we need to choose where the articles are going to be published. If you've been around awhile and have a network of friends/associates, consider contacting them and discussing writing some articles for their sites. Of course, the size of their readership will be a factor in how much traffic you can receive from your article, so keep this in the back of your mind also.

If you haven't been around that long or don't have a network, a great alternative is submitting your articles to article directories.

Article directories such as Ezine Articles and Article Dashboard allow anyone to publish articles on any subject they choose. The articles are checked to make sure they meet submission guidelines, and then they are published for anyone to read.

One of the many benefits of publishing your articles with an article directory is that they are indexed with the major search engines. For instance, Google loves Ezine Articles, so publishing to Ezine Articles gives you the potential have your article rank well on the Google site. Pretty Cool, right!?!

Okay, now that we've decided where we're going to publish our articles, let's look at how the article should be written:

Your article should be between 300-700 words long. Be sure to hoose a topic related to the theme of your own website or blog. (Writing articles that appeal to your target market will ensure that you’ll receive visitors who are interested in your website before they click.)

When writing your article keep these tips in mind:

- Make sure your article is well-written and informative (NOT an advertisement).
- Proof read your article for typos and grammatical errors.
- Be sure to include your bio box at the end with your URL included.

For your bio box:

- Be sure to include the full http:// portion of your website URL to make the link active.
- Limit the resource box to only one or two links. If you get greedy, many publishers will pass on your article.

Submit your Article, then rinse and repeat.

The number one mistake made by many website owners is to write one article and obsess over it. Get your first article written, then move onto your next one and then the next. Write, submit, rinse and reapeat.

That last tip (rinse and repeat) is HUGE. This is where most article marketers fail. If you commit yourself to it, you will crush the competition.

Use High Value Web Content to Snatch Traffic

High value content refers to written words, audios or videos. Incorporating high value web content in your website can help you generate more traffic in a number of ways.

High Value content helps you get more traffic. Period. Very targeted, high quality traffic at that.

First of all, search engines LOVE websites that offer high value web content. No matter what type of site you have, you can leverage this to increase the traffic to your website or blog.

And it's not just search engines that want high value web content. Your visitors just plain love - high quality - free content. Think about it. If you go to a website that is just a storefront, are you going to be hesitant to buy? I am. However, if you come in and click around for a while and read some high quality stuff, how much more likely are you apt to pull out you wallet?

Plus, high value web content makes websites "sticky". This means that, if a visitor comes to a website and finds good information (in any format), they are more likely to return than if they just land on a sales page.

How can you add high value web content to your site or blog?

- Add valuable articles. You can use a mix of your own unique content, free reprint articles and Private Label Rights (PLR) articles.

- If you have a website, add a blog with content about your products or services and list special offers. Establish yourself as an expert with this high value content and people will come back for more.

- Ask for comments and feedback. No matter if you have a website or blog, incorporating comments from others can help make your web site more valuable.

- Add testimonials. Simple and effective. Testimonials not only make your site appear more trustworthy, but they also add content for search engines.

- Add audio. It's simple and easy to record and publish audio online now, with services that do everything for you. Interview someone or have someone interview you. Include your interviews as web content for added credibility and information for your visitors.

- Frequently Asked Questions. Keep track of the questions you receive and answer them on a FAQ page. You'll add web content and spend less time answering repeat questions from your potential clients.

High value web content will help you snatch up some great traffic.

It's not instant trafic, like some of the other methods we teach, but when you incorporate this while using the other methods, you do put yourself in a position to build a great relationship with your visitors. And that will put tons of cash in your pocket.

Forum and Blog Posting are Great for Driving Traffic

Forum posts are great for driving traffic. To find forums, simply do a quick search in Google and you'll find plenty on virtually any topic. Register at a forum, put your website address or blog address into your signature, and make real, legitimate, high quality posts. Do NOT mention your product in your posts, ever. If you provide high quality content in your posts, your products will virtually sell themselves. You won't receive thousands of hits, but a few, very high quality ones that are ready and willing to buy from you. Quality over quantity!

Making comments on blog postings is extremely successful for us as well. We find high traffic blogs relevant to our niche topic and make postings, with a link back to our website. Again, contribute high quality content and you'll see the traffic flow. In fact, you might even be able to talk with the blog owner and get your website listed on the blog if you contribute enough.

To find high traffic blogs, just type your niche topic into google and put the word "blog" after it. For example, you'd want to search for "stop smoking blog" (without the quotes) if you were searching for a stop smoking blog.

And just like our previous post about Craigslist, it's time effective.

Using Craigslist to Generate Traffic for Free

Hopefully you read our opening statement and took away the fact that traffic is all about a SYSTEM, not one technique. This is sooo important to realize for your sucess that I will remind you of this very often...

The simple traffic technique I'm about to cover is a good one - on many different levels. But... folks dismiss it because it's not that single magic pill everyone thinks exists. (Of course, now that you're part of our family, you know better ;)

I’ve done quite a bit of experimentation with Craigslist to generate traffic. While it does not drive "insane" traffic, it does generate enough to make it worth the effort.

You just need to post some relevant information and you’re done. Beauty doesn’t sell, but good information and links do. You can plug and chug rapidly.
